ELEVATOR REWIND: HERE’S WHAT YOU’VE MISSED

Elevator

Without a doubt, 2020 has been a year like no other (which I know you’ve heard many times). We’ve all had to make changes to our daily routines, including the way we work, socialize, etc. Over the past few months, the team at ELEVATOR has been hustling, doing what we do best: messaging. With unexpected curveballs imposed by COVID-19, we’ve had to tweak a few strategies to meet the current climate. All being said, we’ve been making news and generating awareness for our clients across Canada. Here’s what you’ve missed:

CHATTERS: LIGHTS, CAMERA, DIGITAL ACTION

ELEVATOR has been working behind the scenes for salon-based retailer, Chatters , to coordinate seasonal Virtual Press Previews, that allow Canadian media the opportunity to learn about the upcoming season’s biggest hair trends and most anticipated hair product launches. With 115 locations across Canada, Chatters carries products from well-known brands such as Drybar, Redken, AG Hair, Joico and Moroccanoil. To adapt to the current global situation, the previews were held virtually, which allowed for attendees to join safely from the comfort of their home. So far, we’ve been able to generate over 100 pieces of earned media coverage, with a total reach of over 50 million.

FIREBALL: TASTES LIKE HEAVEN, GROWIN’ LIKE HELL ON SOCIAL

In the heart of the pandemic, ELEVATOR landed the role of Canadian AOR (agency of record) with roles including content creation and community management for Fireball . From mid October to the end of December, we’ve launched and grew their Canadian social media presence to nearly 2,000 followers combined on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Through the use of Influencers and celebrities alike – collaborating with talent from Canada’s Drag Race, Brooke Lynn Hytes, to NHL superstar, Mike Commodore – Fireball and ELEVATOR were able to speak directly to the market in a meaningful way, while simultaneously capitalizing on major moments, like Halloween and the holiday season. Entering the New Year with a healthy following and a fire barrel full of content that is sure to #IgniteTheNite on a #FireballFriday which means we can’t wait to see how the account will grow in the next 365 days.

PREVENTOUS: BEST VIRTUAL FACE FORWARD

With our daily lives migrating to virtual platforms due to COVID-19, we’ve never been more aware of our appearance. Our days are consumed with Zoom meetings and Facetime calls, and as a result, the team at Preventous , A Calgary-based Cosmetic Medicine practice, has noticed an increase in patients reaching out with skin health and appearance concerns. To jump start the conversation, ELEVATOR collaborated with Influencers based in Calgary, Alberta, to raise awareness around access to virtual skin consultations at Preventous. Influencers were invited to put the digital experience to the test, meeting virtually with a skin health expert and physician to discuss their specific skincare needs, which was documented through their Instagram channels. The goal of the program was to demonstrate the ease of the experience and create a touch point that would introduce potential patients to Preventous, resulting in sales of product and/or services. The program resulted in 133 target customers visiting the Preventous website and online store.
