This is not Elevator’s first rodeo with consumer brands. So when Bonne Maman approached us to help them launch their new product in Quebec, we pulled out the best strings of our PR bow.
In order to satisfy the sweet tooth of the province and to conquer a new category, the Bonne Maman jams and spreads brand has launched Les Compotées in the spring of 2021. These fresh, gourmet and generous desserts combine pieces of melting fruit with spices and infusions in an original way to reveal all their flavours and enhance their freshness.
The brand’s main objective for this launch was to raise awareness of the product but also to highlight the premium and unique aspect of this brand new dessert. To support this delicious launch, we set up media relations offensives and an influencer campaign.
Bonne Maman’s Compotées were featured in some of Quebec’s major media outlets, and the news was spread in abundance on social media by our ambassadors and contacts. In total, our efforts resulted in close to 5,000,000 impressions through print, digital and social media coverage over a period of only 3 months. The announcement generated a lot of interest from the media, as nearly 60% of them responded to our communication. Our influencer campaign generated about 2.5% engagement for our 3 ambassadors, who brilliantly managed to sublimate the product and make it accessible to their communities by sharing our key messaging.
