Educated at Cambridge University, Melanie’s PR days began in London, England where she entered the world of fashion
working behind the scenes of ready-to-wear fashion shows and at the front-end promoting couture labels, designer
accessories, fragrances and retail destinations. In 2001 Melanie launched her own agency in Canada.
On her own initiative, Melanie raised thousands of dollars in gift vouchers for our agency. The community needs more engaged business leaders like Melanie because

Since founding elevator communications Melanie has built a rich and diverse client portfolio that includes food and

Melanie has been recognized several times in her industry for elevator’s award-winning PR work in
digital communication, brand building, special events, product launches and community relations.
She resides in Toronto with her love Dr. Jean Eid, an academic specializing in Econometrics &
Statistics, her daughter Scarlet, and Tommy, their family cat. Her free time is typically spent
enjoying the outdoors and sharing meals with family and friends. She works and lives to
vacation. While vacationing, she’s already planning the next trip!
